Who are we?

Who Be We?

A FREE group for people of all ages who want to take back control of their lives from alcohol.

The ship, 'Freedom' offers, not only support but a very different approach to simply 'will power,' changing the way you view your relationship with alcohol. Founded by Captain Daniel in 2016 along with 58 other original members of 'One Year No Beer' who broke away to man their own ship, they became 'One Year No Beer Pirates'! They later changed their name to 'Sober Inspired Pirates'. Unlike  'One Year No Beer' the Pirates remain FREE to all.

Jump here to the FREE private Facebook Group This website is their Headquarters and Operations Centre!

Take time to have a good look around, please! This could be the first step in changing your life forever!

An armada of other ships is open to you, also free, and you can view them under 'Fleet' below, then join one or more depending on your interests! The Jamaica Inn is their only land-based outlet but it's only for very brave Pirates, so read the warnings first! The Black Pearl is an invisible ship where the Captains hang out with the Admins and Moderators; If you become a Moderator/Admin then one day you may be invited aboard The Black Pearl! The Freedom is run by Daniel and fellow Pirate, Captain Mo. You will never be asked for money to join our ship but as we expand and you feel the benefits of being one of our Pirates, you may consider becoming a 'Patron.' Donating a tiny monthly amount will eventually help us to spread the Alcohol-Free message to the whole world.

Ahoy! All hands on deck!

Caution

Caution from the Captain

Listen up me hearties, this be a serious message! By boarding this ship, you are agreeing to take full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing at all times. The support and suggestions of your fellow Pirates are not meant to replace the medical, nor psychological support and intervention of a licensed accredited professional or health care team. We are not here to diagnose, treat, nor assess alcohol dependency beyond the scope of a trained professional. Alcohol use and abuse is a spectrum, and sudden withdrawal without medical supervision may be extremely dangerous and not advisable for anyone experiencing tremors, hallucinations, or with a history of mental illness etc.  This site is meant as an adjacent to proper medical care and assessment tools. We are all here for each other, to listen and support, but please take notice of the above.
